Her rule is one of clever observation. And those closest to her are the faithful loyal. But this is after an assassination attempt...
This queen is so not like any queen I've ever read of or written about. That has me so excited for her person and her court to go through these adventures.
Originally, this was going to be five short stories. I'm still not completely sure if they will be combined into one novella or released separately.
My secret weapon here is the queen's court. There's a couple of characters in there, if you know what I mean, and I'm here for it!
The story of a brave Flare who is compelled to thwart the rulers of the galaxy, one sale at a time. Did we mention the children are disappearing? And it's a good thing.
This project actually is a bit more complicated than I wanted it to be.
Seven different worlds to build for seven different species. I am actually not sure if I can adequately paint everything as beautifully as I hope to, but I'm giving it my best shot!
The thing I love most about this series are the varied, vibrant characters. The main chara is one of my favorites and I can't wait to see the chaos surrounding him as he navigates through this adventure.
Could he have multiple adventures? Wow, I hope so. I'd love to see him get some sort of long-reaching trauma therapy and settle down or something.
Maxy's Extraordinary Fix-It's are working hard, and now, their resident prodigy has a mechanical friend. Ricksa doesn't mean to let Waygo have adventures, but well...
Haphazard projects just might be the best projects. And this gem proves it. Ricksa is my dark horse or wild card tale, and I wasn't certain I wanted to see her story birthed or sent to the abyss! But now, I kinda find her and her little friend, Waygo, a bit nostalgic and endearing.
Her father's name is Maxy. She's a prodigy. She loves fixing things and figuring things out. She does not love being ignored or dismissed because she's little. But... Now her robot friend has an opinion about what they should spend their time doing, and I can't wait to see what all they get up to!
All I know for sure is Maxy's gonna need an aspirin. And not for the last time.
The Captain of the Naphalis in his daily life. What could possibly go wrong?
When you know a space cowboy, is life simpler or more chaotic? I'm guessing the stories are better and the absolute terror of what can kill a person is sadly M.I.A.
Daniyel Zuuz is surrounded by emotional people and hair-raising situations. His steady, rock-chiseled demeanor is matched only by his heart to do what's right and good. And he will, regardless of the post-war environment around him and his ship.
Am I going to love his crew as much as I love him? Unsure. But wherever he's leading us shall be one wild ride.
Two of my oldest series, I aim to clean them up and put them out.
Eternity Past Lost and its part two, Eternity Past Found, are finding the memories of a Chosen warrior and determining what matters and what doesn't in light of it all.
A Cradle Prayer and A Cradle Grave are much more than the scary woman controlling the space travel ways; it's about freedom from the darkness never meant to control what it does.
One set of tales has humor it in. The other is kinda dark and gets lighter. Both are connected in a way that feels right (at least to me!) and brings about new characters and unique regions.
Two of my newest series, I am getting really excited about how they overlap.
Following Alana Bāptíste's adventure as prequeled in Yvonne's Space Folks You Should Know, she's discovering a universe she could never see or research. As the "Lost Researcher", she will be able to observe what her traveling companion cannot.
And The Gentle of Stars Series follows another set of characters in a pseudo-reality.
I am excited to follow the trail and see if the enemy's plans ruin my characters or if they come out stronger. (I'm really worried about one, in particular...)
There are, of course, many more handmade projects coming from me. These are just the soon-and-upcoming, if every orbit stays in alignment and the sun shines. I can't wait for you to see these diverse characters and interesting settings! XO! —Yvonne
